what is Red ribbon week?

Celebrated annually October 23-31, it’s the nation’s oldest and largest drug prevention awareness program. Wearing red ribbons during the month of October represents pledge to live drug free! SAFE in Sag Harbor enjoys supporting the efforts of Sag Harbor schools each year to educate and empower their students to make healthy choices.

SAFE in Sag Harbor is a program of HUGS, Inc. and receives funding as a Drug Free Communities grantee through the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP).
